A
Recipe for Good Health...
Take 1 teaspoon
in a glass of water, sweetened if you like with some honey
which will help to remove some of the bitter properties of the vinegar.
The dosage can be increased up to 2 tablespoon
as you get used to it.
For best results, sip slowly (with water) on an empty stomach in the morning and
at night.
It can also be taken with meals as I find it also assists the digestion
system.
I have always believed that 'you are
what you eat', a classic case of
what you sow is what you reap! So next time you have a health problem,
think twice about reaching for that bottle of tablets and try
using a natural remedy instead.
One such remedy concerns the use of 'Apple
Cider' vinegar, which I have
found to be very effective over the years for complaints ranging from
colds,
sore throats and headaches to heartburn, mouth ulcers and insomnia.
I buy my apple cider vinegar from the local Health Food Store. There
are many
different brands available, but I prefer the 'Aspall' Organic brand.
Costs about £2.80 for a Litre bottle.
I have taken Apple Cider Vinegar almost daily
with good results for at least 25 years!
When taking the cider vinegar for heartburn
for instance, it would appear that the
acid content of the vinegar 'instructs' the stomach to stop producing
any
more acid. I have personally tried this and it really does work.

If any of you out there
wish to loose a bit of weight, then why not try taking
Apple Cider Vinegar in water before or during meals.
This has been known to cause some weight loss.
Apparently, the vinegar dissolves the fatty
plaque adhering to the inside of
the arteries and from other areas. This waste fat is then deposited
into
the bloodstream and disposed of naturally.
The same principle applies to stiff or swollen
joints, whereby the acid
content of the vinegar dissolves any excess calcium, and
also dissolves the crystals which form in the joints.
It then puts it back into solution in the blood.
Result: Less painful joints!
Apple Cider Vinegar is very rich in potassium,
and in humans and animals alike,
the body without any doubt wants potassium and if necessary will go
to great lengths to get it. Potassium also keeps the body's arteries
flexible
and resilient. Apple Cider Vinegar is one of, if not the most
important minerals which the human body needs.
NB: It is most important for correct functioning
of the Heart
and enhances the Immune System....
The well known slogan of 'An
Apple a day keeps the Doctor away' has
an element of truth. 'Apple Cider Vinegar, as well as being very rich
in potassium, also contains calcium, phosphorous and other minerals,
all of which help maintain the balance in the body chemistry.
For quite some
time now, as an experiment, I have been making infusions
of Apple Cider Vinegar and herbs, for example, try inserting
a few sprigs of Rosemary or Sage into the bottle.
I have found that these herbs, especially Rosemary,
sweeten the the vinegar and gives it a
much more pleasant taste.
Recent research by Dr. Yoshio
Takino, of Shizuka University in Japan,
has proven that vinegar helps to maintain good health and helps to
prevent the formation of two fatty peroxides responsible for
aging and ill health. Dr. Takino's research shows that vinegar
destroys free radicals, which are a major factor in the ageing
and mutation of tissue, and that vinegar also helps break
down the cholesterol formations that build up
on blood vessel walls.
Good Health to you all - and please
let me know how you get on!
